About Us
How did we fall in love?
We are Forestgaarden Siberians, named after the beautiful breed and our last name Boomgaarden. Our names are Amanda and Chris and loving our sibs is one of our favorite things to do. I have struggled with extreme allergies my whole life and have always wanted to own cats and couldn’t. There was a day that I was talking about getting a cat and my husband started researching hyper allergenic cats that we could possibly own.We came across these beautiful fluff balls and wanted one immediately. We found that with the waiting lists, that it would be a while before we could get one. We put owning a cat on the back burner for awhile until we decided to pull the trigger and start the search for our new best friends. We welcomed our first two girls together a couple years ago and have been hooked since to this bread. You really can’t help but fall in love.
Our Mission
Our MAIN mission is for our kittens to go to happy, healthy homes that they can add so much love and joy to. Siberians are adaptable to all climates but with the unknown of the outdoors we would love to see our kittens go to homes that will remain indoors and experience safe, attended outdoor time.
Our cats are raised under our feet with the family as well as getting their loved outside time in their catio pad. Our sibs are read to by our children during reading time, cuddled in bed with when it comes to bedtime and the center of our laughs and aww’s in our household. Our King and Queens are raised with love and attention as well as the kittens that they bring into our family.
Our Vision
Having strong communication on expectations from both parties is something that is very important to us. We want to know you and learn about you as well as you learn about us. Asking questions about the breed, behaviors and best atmosphere are good ways to learn more about the breed and to see if they would be a good match for you and your family. We are a small breeder that is looking forward to building relationships with the people who share the same love for these beauties that we have. We are excited to meet you and learn more about what you are looking for in a cat and as well as a breeder.

My husband and I are into many hobbies such as enjoying time outdoors, supporting our three children in all their sports, goals and adventures. I enjoy decorating, cooking, planning events and spending time with family and friends while Chris loves sports, building things, fishing and outdoor activities.
